Anyone hear whether they are going to reopen with a new owner? I've called a few times recently with no answer.

 

Hadn't heard that they closed - knew they were having problems - when was their last day?

 

When I was there in late August one of the girls said they were closing about the 1st of Sept. and a new owner was going to reopen the dealership,I hope so.

 

I think they may open as Kings Harley do not have a date.

 

They has trucks loading it all up over this past weekend. It is a shame. Not sure all the logistics but for what ever reason after the owners death Harley would not let them buy parts or bikes to sell. DeeDee that used to work there gave a little info, but not much.

 

they did have a sign hanging in the door saying some dealership from texas bought it, and it would re-open when all of thier stuff was in place. this was 2-3 weeks ago

 

Maybe the new owner will put the price of new bikes on the bikes. I didn't like it very much when you had to ask a price of a bike from a sales person and they get chity with you when you wouldn't buy.

 

I was just up at F&S this am (9/24/09) and one of the owners said that a big dealer from Texas bought A&8 and that it would be back open in a month, don't know if that is from HD rep or what??

 

Heard about all that, but hadn't been up that way this summer...might make the trip when they open back up...I always liked the place, always a good time going on there, but I just never could get them to deal with me when I've been buying bikes...we'll see.
