Horn to wake the dead??

"RIVCO...126 db. Nothing louder."
Several claim 128 db, one I found claims 130 db. I gues there are vairables related to the way the sound is measured, and I don't know the real difference between 126, 128, and 130 db. Is it a straight-forward increase in "loud", or is it exponential?

decibel scale is logarithmic...110 is ten times louder than 100, etc...
130 db is roughly the loudness of a jet engine taking off. As said, not sure how close or which direction these measurements are taken from...I would hope at 128 db, the sound would shoot straight out front.

Howards Horns are supposed to be bada$$ too. http://www.howardshorns.com/
Yesterday, I made some guy spit out his dentures when I laid into the horn...he was about to run a stop sign on me... He stopped. !! I'd have to say , they workded pretty good...but I wouldn't say they'd wake the dead though.

The Harley air horn looks to be the same as the WOLO. I wasted my money on the Harley one and it crapped out after 2 1/2 years. After I pissed my money away on the Harley horn I seen the WOLO at Harbor Freight for around $35. Right after I got mine a friend asked me about my Harley horn and I told him to get the WOLO. He did and his still works while mine is in a landfill. Get the WOLO and save some cash
