Indian Larry tattoo thoughts
Saw the biker build off with Indian Larry today. Been almost 2yrs since His death. I've been thinking about getting the tat on his neck done on myself ever since. He was a geat inspiration to me and part of the reason why I took up motorcycling. I never got a chance to meet him, but had planned to. I still plan to make a trip up to meet Paul *** and see the Gasoline Alley shop. Watching all the motorcycle shows on Tv really got me into motorcycling. Another inspiration to me are Orange County Choppers, and Milwaukee Iron. Which they lost Gary not long ago also. These people dedicate their lives to what we love everyday. Ive made it a quest to meet as many of them as possible. I wanted to Thank them for the part they played on getting me on my way. I met Jessie Rooke, Eddie Trotta, and Arlen Ness in Daytona this year. Getting to the point would I be infringing on Larry if I got his Tattoo done or should I leave that as it is now which is only something that he is remembered by. After all that is one of his signatures that everyone will remember about him.

Although imitation is the highest form of flattery I don't think that pertains in this case. IMHO I would try and think of something else to honor his memory..

Does your tat guy look at you and say," You want me to do what?" Mine does. These are the artists that you can trust to come up with something that will turn out, sometimes you have to comprimise but you will probably be happier in the long run.

Not to pick.. Indian Larry was a great Man with a backwards tattoo on his neck. You are not a great man... get you're own tattoo!

Yeah that would be kinda tacky I think.... but what do I know. I have a tattoo of Taz on my butt.
