gee after reading the orginal posters problemsiI think i may just skip poker runs or any kind of run all together. beside i don't have a stero on my bike. I used to belong to an arcery club and I was the treasure when we had drawings I always made sure that I found a little kid or a non member to pull the lucky winner out on the hat, just so we weren't acused of anyhing cheating.

the poker runs around here are ride at your own pace using a map not a group ride that the thread opener sounds like.

Maybe I just pick the good rides, but I haven't really had any of these experiences. I've seen very minor variations of some of the listed peeves, but nothing serious enough to spoil the experiences.

Why is it always "donate" to some cause? Why can't the entries be given back to the first three or five top hands once in awhile?

Guess that's why I just ride anymore and don't do "Poker Runs" or belong to any "club". Seems like it's ALWAYS a "donation" of one kind or another just to gather with other riders now and then.
