Doublenaught, the dude with the trained house cats was still there a couple of years ago when I visited KW. See the pic, probably the same guy.

Man - I was last there in 1992, and that's the same guy! He must make a pretty good living doing that!

 

Stayed at the Marathon Holiday Inn and rode in each day......but spending a night in a hotel right in Key West would be great....pub crawl, nightlife and music. Across from the Holiday Inn in Marathon is a restaurant with the best calamarie....and just down the road is a place called Porky's.....deep fried Key Lime Pie...trust me, it's out of this world.
When you ride into Key West you will eventually come to Duval....turn right and down a block or two on the left is The Hogs Breath Tavern......you can park there for the day....for a good price.

Everyone is smiling in Key West because they are in Key West....you'll have a great time and i hope the weather treats you both well.....

Me and a buddy rode down in 2006. Parked the bikes and did the crawl, tried to drink all the rum in Key West. Didn't wake up until 3pm the next day! Had a great time.

If you have never done it, take an Airboat cruse through the Everglades, great to see the wildlife.

Does anyone know the name of that RV park a few miles from Key West on the west side of the highway?
