Got a Fox Creek for really cold weather, a FXRG for fall and spring, and a Power Trip mesh for summer.

Truth be told though, I rarely wear the mesh in the summer time.

I have a Kerr Leather jacket that I have had for about 8 years......made in the USA, excellent quality, heavyweight leather and it has broken in very nicely....only issue with it is tha the leather is so heavy that it is quite stiff and not particularly comfortable for anything other than riding. I did have one minor crash with it on and it did it's job.

I also have a Lil Joe's "Bay Area" vest that is excellent as well.........also made in the USA

One thing that I haven't been able to find on any jacket is sleeves that are long enough for riding with apes.....I have a 35" sleeve length and the added reach to the apes always causes any jacket I've tried to ride up.......

Mesh in the summer with Armor, Denim in the fall with Armor, classic leather aka "Marlon Brando" in the winter. Leather vest with all of them.

Hey DynaDAWG,

That jacket is a River Road Classic Mesa Jacket. I agree, looks pretty nice.

I have two HD jackets. Both are over 10 years old. I like them. My favorite is the brown one.

Question

[quote=rthomp159;5565649]Got a Fox Creek for really cold weather, a FXRG for fall and springquote]

Is your FXRG leather or nylon? If leather, does the Fox Creek keep you warmer than the FXRG? Just wondering because I wear my FXRG during the winter but if it gets below 40 degrees, I have to put a sweat shirt under it.
