Most all bike makers, if they advertise hp at all, give crankshaft HP.
Yeah a VROD, putting out 110 or so RWHP and weighing about 615 lb, well that is surely pitiful for a V-twin.....Why you could get a nearly 900 lb V-Twin Harley Ultra and be putting just shy of 64 RWHP in stock form. I am sure you would blow on by the VRods.

I didn't check other prices but they have other models.

Don't ask me - ask them for more info. 724.981.7282
Did you buy one? Not insane enough, I guess.

Las Vegas HD has Vrods all the time, but the same as all their other bikes 2-3k over list, mysteriously though, in time they do disappear, not sure where though!

Saw, Sat and Test drove several V-Rods and still got no itch to buy one...No deal as I moved on.

IMO, V-Rod's a metric. I don't care if they were built by HD. Still a metric to me...End of the story.

I own a 08 Fat Bob. Not ready to part with it or add another. Tempted? oh yeah... They also had a couple of CVOs, Fat Boys, Sportsters, and Dynas they were discounting heavily.

There's a ton of V-rods running around where I live, just outside of Dayton. Of coarse most of them are complete and utter RUBs that think they're better than everyone. There's a guy that rides an orange CVO V-rod around here that's pretty cool though. The jury's still out for me on if I like them or not. I mean I think they're OK, but I just don't think I could ever see myself riding one.

Used V Rods are a huge seller over in Russia and other assorted eastern european countries. We met a guy with a whole trailer of them he was exporting. He buys used ones up here cheap, and gets around 4-5 thousand profit per bike over there. So he says.

How can they let go of V-Rods for cost? What will they use for doorstops?

Well I ran into a low price on a V-Rod a few weeks ago over in Tennessee and thought I was missing something. I guess there are dealers willing to move the inventory and turn it into cash. I know we have to do that on a few things we sell (or cannot sell).

My local dealer always has a few in stock but no deals. Personally I like the bike and would love to own one as a second solo machine. At those prices I am interested again. I wish Thunder's website was working properly. It will not allow me to view their current inventory?

Thanks
