Default 2009 Black Road Glide, Good Deal?

I have been to several dealerships in FL and would like some feedback for the following deal:
2009 Vivid Black with ABS and Security NEW 20,000 OTD

I also asked based on feedback from this great site for 20 percent off all additional accessories at time of purchase

Please let me know your thoughts

If you can live with the deal, it is a good deal. As long as you don't walk out of the dealership feeling like you were taken advantage of, you will be fine. 20K out the door is a fair price. Most are probably picking up the '09 RG for 20K plus or minus 1K. Of course some will come on and say how the dealer paid them to drive off on the bike (j/k) but every area is different. You just have to determine how much riding time do you want to miss looking for the perfect deal to save $500.

There's an old New England proverb (my wife's a Maineac) that defines a "good deal" as one in which both parties firmly believe they've screwed the other...

Sound like a fair deal. I dont know myself the best deal out there vs your travel time to get it. Hopefully someone will give you some ammo to take to the dealer with on a lower deal.

Don't know about Florida, but here in Wisconsin I just got the same exact bike (minus security) for $16,500. This dealer had a lot of leftovers, which made all the difference.

Shop that deal around. There is always someone else and in today's market they are MOTIVATED to make a sale. Since you're in FL anyway, I have had good luck at Rossmeyers Destination Daytona. They move a lot of bikes and can afford to cut more than most dealers.

And, if you really want a good deal, buy used from an individual. If you're careful and do your homework, you will find lots of good bikes for sale by guys who got into a bike they can't afford, found out they don't like riding, etc.
