A mmm correction ... that's POOR SOULS!

 

Actually Laconia is a beautiful place to ride. But it's in the mountians, you have to watch the roads. Problem with a rally like this is there are THOUSANDS of motorcycles, many bikers who have never been there before, and they're driving while SITE SEEING on roads they may have never driven before. Often very narrow, windy mountain roads. And let's face it .... many have been partying maybe a little too much either that day or the night before to be driving and many hardly get any sleep while at the rally because of all the noise and the excitment. Put together site seeing, driving strange windy roads, maybe a little too much partying, not enough sleep ... and some people are bound to get hurt.
