Yep, used that trick before on my old 67 Mustang. Haven't needed it on the bike yet.

Kind of like that old trick of hooking 2 box wrenches together for extra leverage. I've always been amazed at how well that works, especially in tight areas.

I went to Harbor Frieght and bought a impact screwdriver for 7 bucks. It comes with 3 different size philips head and 3 streight screw driver bits. hit it with a small hammer and presto the screw comes right out. The 3 screws that hold my s&s air cleaner on were stuck. Backed right out. Doesn't harm the chrome heads on the screws.

Yep. Put the bit in, smack it with a hammer, remove the screw normally.
