Slip On's ripped off at bike night
Got to work this morning and one of my co-workers was at a local bike night last night, when he goes to leave, he notices someone stole the slip-on mufflers, clamps, brackets and all from his 100th anniversary Dyna.
He said it was still daylight when he left, and he'd only been there about an hour. Parked right out on the street, with other bikes. Can't believe someone didn't see them being snagged.
I'd heard of people have their bags and seats swiped, but mufflers was a new one.

I dont believe this happened in Kansas, think your buddy took them off sold them to tip the hooter girls and wanted to have a good excuse for the wife to get new pipes.

There is always somebody that wants your chit...Plus this economy puts some people in a mood that will make them do some desperate stuff , sometimes to feed their kids or habits...

Ripped off
SOME people will do the unexpected.....With that said, good news is that they didnt take the WHOLE bike......Did the Myrtle Beach bike week and the bike next to ours was picked up-GONE.....a Beautiful Blingout CVO.....I try to not help THOSE people who procure free sh$t from my scoot like park where I have a line a site, a well traveled area, or in the front parking spots of a store....diner..whatever....Still ride safe and ride in the wind, still.

Sign of the economy. I went to check out a deer stand a while back and while slowing to turn in to the property I noticed two guys loading wood they had cut from a tree they in turn had cut. I stopped and asked them what they were doing and they said they had promission from the owner and not to worry about it. I told them I was puzzled since I was the owner. They unloaded the wood and left. Crap when it gets to the point someone is willing to steal a tree, al be it small, nothing is safe.
