Default Mid Life Crisis???

The other day while I was looking through the sale ads on craigslist my daughter walked in my room and seen all of the bikes I was looking at. The first thing out of her mouth was “How many bikes do you need?” “What, are you going through Mid Life Crisis or something?”

This made me think for a minute… If that “is” what I am going through, WHY IN HELL would it be called a Crisis???

A Crisis is something B-A-D, an event of devastating consequences. That is not what is happening here.

The so called Mid Life Crisis got a bad rap, and should be renamed!!!

After all should it be considered a Crisis if you finally reach an age and financial standing where you can finally fulfill your childhood dreams and aspirations? Is it a Crisis to want to enjoy your life a bit after years of working to feed the kids and pay the bills? I don’t think so… All I can say is: If this is a Mid Life Crisis that I am going through, this is the greatest crisis I have ever had to face and I don’t want it to end…

When I decided to buy my first bike, this idiot woman I work with ask me if I was having a mid-life crisis. I was 30. I almost slapped her.

Ya got it all wrong Fathead. It's sometimes a crisis for the wimmen's in our lives, not us. My wife said I was going through it but I took her along for the ride. Now she wants me to have another.

Perspective, my friend. Perspective.

It can turn into a crisis pretty fast. Just gotta make sure it can all be paid for.

I'm glad that I'm sixty eight. When I buy toys no one can say it's a mid life crisis.

To me it is an end of life crisis. I need to get all the things that I want while I can.
