Harley Shop Manuals - how hard are they to come by?
I've been wanting to buy a 2007 Roadking (FLHR) Shop Manual and was wondering if anyone in the group has gone through this process? I'm assuming this just involves asking for it at the local HD Dealership and paying for it but not sure!! The MYSTERY behind owning one is very intimidating!!.. Tell me guys, how hard is it to get a shop manual?

Not sure how much the Stealers charge for shop/parts manuals but you might check with J&P Cycles as well. See if the difference (including shipping) makes it worth it to go inside or outside.

A bargain at twice the price but you can probably find a used one on this forum in the classifieds or on Ebay for less. The factory manuals are worth every penny that they charge. and +1 on the parts book as well.

You can check this url http://www.cyclemanuals.com/HD/hdparts.htm for any service or parts manual then order them direct or go thru your favorite online or local HD store.

Definitely worth the money and do not accept anything less than the actual Harley manual. They are much better than Clymer, etc. My brother bought a Clymer manual to save some money and ended up buying a Harley one anyway.
