EFI for me.. True there are sensors to fail and you need instruments to figure out WTH goes wrong but, it sure makes it nice when you're at 7000 ft and it runs just as good as it does at sea level..

EFI probably worth a little more, (maybe a couple hundred), especially if a tuner is already installed. Do you consider the tuner as part of the EFI system?

In reality, you won't find 2 identical used bikes. The other differences will affect price more.

identical in every way except one has carb and one is efi
It's not often you see identical bikes. I'd think the pair would command an awesome price!

I went with a Carb on my 06 for the reason that I do all my own work, understand carbs and ride at sea level almost always. It makes sense for me. If I didn't have this going for me then FI might be a choice. As far as price, there are a few of us that do like Carbs a lot and a Carb Bike could be a big selling point.

Price is dictated by supply and demand. How many and who's the fool. I have one of each. I would pay more for a carbed bike. JMO The fuel injected bike is great but is sensor dependent and fuel pump dependent. The carbed bike is less sensitive to sensors and has no fuel pump.

a co worker here had a 97 Electraglide classic with carb. I had a 2001 RK with EFI. he asked me one day "how can you get on your bike and just ride off? I have to wait for mine to warm up a bit and then turn the choke off after a few minutes of riding". EFI!!

My old Sporty was just like that, having to warm up and such. My 06 FLH has no issues of warming up. In the mornings I start her up, watch the garage door go down, then ride off. The enrichener **** actually doesn't need to be pushed back in, takes care of its self.

Well, I've got one of each and wouldn't have it any other way.
