WHy...mostly cause they can.
Stay away and stay out when you see the 2 anywheres near one another. Better safe than sorry.

Think you oughta do a little more thinking and a lot less typing Dan? Before you start forcing your anti 1%er up with stereotyping attitudes on the rest of us regular folk out here. Never met an Outlaw member myself, never having lived in an area they inhabit, I guess? Have met and gotten to know many HA member's however, and can tell you 100% honestly Dan that the majority of these guy's are NOT criminals drug dealers pimp's or organized crime group member's, but normal average people just like you and me!
Not trying to say that none of the HA's membership has ever been involved in crime mind you? Of course there are those that commit every type of criminal act known to man and then some. And these are the one's I tend to stay away from on the off chance we should meet. What I am trying to explain to you TMan is that individual members or perhap's a few of them together will at times resort to crime, true! This hardly makes all of them criminal's any more than all ex football player's are wife killer's just because one of them sure as hell seem's to have tried it, if you know what I mean? And you ought to know better than to believe everything your government/police/and media, want's you too!

RE: H.As and Outlaws
When i was a kid back in the 1960s there was a whole block of HA's living in town (Lowell Mass.) and these were dangerous people. As a KID I was frightened to be around there place but as it turns out I'm also a musician and the local music store was across the street from their block. So I spent my fair share of time seeing them. The cops were ALWAYS over there. Fact is even if they were minding their own business they attracted trouble because they couldn't give a crap about local laws. You know ... being roudy, fighting, drinking in public, place was a slum, every now and then someone got knifed. It was BAD. But this was the turbulent 60's, everyone was protesting something and the HA's were getting a lot of press, most of it bad and probably most of it deserved.
Now fast forward to 2006 and at least in New England it's different. I see them riding every now and then but not in vast numbers like before. You almost never see them as a group in the news papers unless they're taking part in some local poka run or something. I'm SURE there are still some who are honest to god bad asses and you'd be smart to keep clear of them but for the most part the ones that I see now keep to their own business and leave people alone. (Unless you're stuped enough to get in their face or screw with their ride.)

Here, it takes many many years to become part of a group. Most of them started as small dealer selling stuff in highschool and slowly selling bigger stuff, then selling to sellers... once youre an authorized distributor you control your area.
your escort business and suggar business grow. Eventually you have to deal with a group of somekind. As your business grow you do more serious business.
It takes a very long time and relation with a group to become a member. This is why cops are having hard time to infiltrate a group like that. Cops/Feds can't hire kids to sell and hope that they become a member in 15 years.
I really don't beleive a group like that would accept normal people though. So when youre saying they have 100% clean member, im not so sure about it. If youre refering to their Lawyers, their girl friends etc... these people are not member.
Once you wear the logo you deal with their enemies aswell.

It all comes down to mutual respect. No diffenrent than any other person be them white, black, pink, or green.
It's those that decide to cross lines and interfere with others that really need to get something handed to them-no matter what side they are on.

Has anyone heard anything about trouble brewing at a Virginia rally this weekend? A LEO friend told me about the alert but couldn't remember which rally it was for. My little girl is working the "Rally in the Valley" in Staunton and this daddy needs to know whether to be there to keep her safe.

I really wouldn't worry about it if I were you. I worked the first Rally in the Valley last year and the same rumor floated around. I think it's stirred up mostly by the local busy body gossips that don't have enough to do and can't stand to see something successful going on. There were around 25,000 people there over the weekend and the only time you could turn your head and not see a LEO (state, county, & alchohol) was when you were in the porta-john (and there were plenty in plain clothes too). I expect the same this year, maybe with a little smaller crowd.
BTW, where in SW Va. are you?

Let's put this one to bed before someone really gets their feelings hurt. We have all kinds of members here from 1%ers to Doctors and Lawyers. We've had this thread a bunch of times and it never turns out good.
