Glad you enjoyed the Ride and had a safe ride. I am on the Pit Crew/pumper team for the ride and pump gas for bikes at the fuel stops. I must say this year we had no accidents/incidents even with the hurricane force rain. The riders were all courteous and pateint even thou wet to the bone. I always tried to evoke a smile from them even thou I was just as wet. The Foundation and Ted are to be commended for all they do so we never forget! Please visit their/our website Americas 9/11 Foundation and see all that they do.

my neighbor and myself were on the overpass of route 155 in havre de grace, maryland with his two young boys. what a great show of support. as a person who was at ground zero, it brought tears to my eyes. i havent been back to lower manhattan since then but plan on doing the ride next year.

Bull,
I have to apologize to you too for not mentioning all the pit crew folks and volunteers who helped with stops and gas and lunches.. You guys all did a fantastic job, especially considering the number of bikes and people involved. My thanks for your contribution..
I won't go through it all again.. but one thing for sure.. I will be back for this ride next year..
Cheers

Hey Maverick,
A buddy and I rode from Orlando FL to take part in that ride. Except for the rain outside of Somerset into Leesburg it was a great ride wasn't it? I'd go again in a heartbeat!
