Using snowboard goggles to ride
#11
I 've been wearing "Apex" snowboarders sunglasses for 12 years now, tempered glass, polarized with regular black frames.I honestly do not know why they stay on at speed, turning my head at 80+ has no effect on them.Pricey but good.No scratches !!!!!LOL

Normally I just wear my prescription sunglasses.. but.. if your interested in googles.. Bobster's or Guard Dogs from the JP catalog work fairly well, I use them for rain, and cold weather. Even though they fit over prescrip glasses, they don't look too dorky or bug eyed.. And let's face it, if your gonna ride in the rain or the cold.. it's all about what works.. not what it looks like. I wear a dew rag, then the googles, and then my helmet. ( Im just more comfortable with the dew rag between my head and the google strap.. your milage may vary.. This set up works exceptionally well in heavy rain. As for Scott or Oakley or whoever's full size sport or tactical googles.. can't help ya much since I've never tired 'em..

So I'm waiting on my Fulmer V2 to come in and I'm trying to decide on goggles. I know motocross goggles will work with the Fulmer but is anyone using snowboarding goggles? I'm just wondering how different snowboard goggles tend to be from motocross. Any helpful input is appreciated it!
Don't know if there is that much difference, big and bulky. But if that's what your looking for.....

Only real difference is the shape of them... MX goggles are a little smaller since they have to fit in a helmet where as boarding goggles can cover more of your face. I think MX goggles breath better too but board goggles have better anti fogging lenses.

Arrrrr matey! You can only wear pirate goggles round these waters to match your pirate outfit...lest ye be flamed by these scurvy dogs!

As did I last year on my cbr. But I had to pull over and get my bike thrown in the truck and taken home. 50+ miles away
