An 06 Wide Glide in Cherry. All factors considered, and the final was taking the ol' lady to see what felt right to her, and once she sat on the WG, said 'This is the bike' and I knew I was ready. They didn't have the one I want until Wednesday, so I will be taking some time off and going in to get 'er done.

I am so excited, I could $****! I almost took a black one, but I like the fact the Cherry is so dark and I haven't seen to many locally. Whoohoo!

Angey inch, I bought my Wide Glide in Febuary, I can tell you one thing about that bike. It is really hard for me to stay off it. I used to have other hobbies, but now all I want to do is ride. I bought the bike as a second ride, but it's turned into my main ride. You ( or your wife ) made a great choice picking the Wide Glide. Hope you have many great rides....I know my wife and I have. I had a couple hobbies, but once I got back into riding, well, I was riding!

My wife was raised around bikers, much as I was. She liked the looks of my current ride, and the way I look on it. She loved taking rides with me- but hates the bike itself. It just didn't feel right, and wasn't as enthusiastic as I hoped. I knew I wouldn't keep the bike long, but because she is unhappy it is going a LOT faster than I had planned.

Man, besides the mortgage, one car payment and utilities.. I was debt free! Ah well, another payment and more debt. I hope this ends up all I hope it is.

Thanks for all the info, thoughts and encouragement. I will share my experiences with negotiations and the like as I go along. As of right now I plan to go and start tommorow.
