I like the looks of them but i am not sure i have long enough legs for them. I am 5'9" but my legs are kind of short and have a hard time reaching my highway pegs on off my stock crash bars on my SG.

I have them and they are very comfortable. But I wonder if pegs might be a good addition.

Not quite sure from the picture if you're sitting exactly on bike as you would be while riding. But from what I can tell, looks like the setup you have now works fine. Adding some pegs would make you splay your lges real wide. Just MHO.

I put the Lindby on my new bike. To me it looks much better/lower profile than the HD guard. I do have a couple of issues with it though. 1) Having longer legs, it is not that comfortable to try and rest my feet on top of that guard on the o-rings. 2) Having longer legs, I am about to put forward controls on the bike for more comfort, and the dealer says I can't use that Lindby with forward controls. So I think I am just gonna take it off and go without.

I would not take it off. It looks good on your Bike. Sooner or later it will pay for it's self. When you least expect it, like just moving it around in your garage it will fall over and with the bar on you want have any damage. Mine has saved me a lot of Money several times.
