Default HJC Cabon Kevlar 1/2 halmet

washed the washable liner and upon removing from the cloths washer, it was in multiple pieces. :-(

Called local dealer and they said we are unable to get liners for the helmet. I said "dang, I purchased it from you for $250 and now you are telling me you can't get a liner?"!

Searched google, but only located sales of the helmet, not the liner.

Any ideas?

TIA

Call HJC. Tell them what happened, and that you followed the directions yet it came out in pieces.

Good Luck.

Are you sure that you were supposed to put it in the dryer? If not then you're SOL. My helmets have always recommended hand washing and air drying.

Didn't put into dryer. The tag with the instructions for washing was faded, therefore just inserted into cloths washer and then planned on air drying.

Following is the reply from HJC. Friggin $250 helmet from Harley and ZERO replacement interiors.

*****

In response to your inquiry, if the replacement interiors are not available from Harley, the part is not replaceable. There is not an HJC model that is equivalent to this model so replacement parts will not be available through the local HJC dealers nor through us directly. Keep in mind that not all models have replacement interiors.

We appreciate your business and contributions in making HJC Helmet North
America's number one helmet selling company for the past decade.

Please visit www.hjchelmets.com for our new and exciting product line
(FS-15, IS-16, Sy-Max II, IS-Max, FS-3, FS-2, IS-33, CS-2N, CS-5N) alongside
recent past models. There are still more new models to come very soon in the future!

Thank You.

Sincerely,

Harleys HJC helmets must be made in a special, Harley only, chinese factory.

WOW I know what type of helmet I'm never going to buy. If someone spends $250 on a helmet you think they could come up with a better F**K Off response.

Note to self......don't buy a HJC helmet. I've had problems with Shoei helmets and have had no problem getting parts sent right to me.
