Great write up in HOG magazine about the Springfield Mile. I've never been but Im gonna go this year. Any advise on where to try and get seats?

What I'm really lookin for is info on where to try and sit or are there any bad seats? Can I drive over there and get seats in advance?

 

I also read the article , That is starting to interest me also. Have seen it on TV. There are a couple of tracks with in 50 miles of my house ,might check it out up close.Good stuff.

 

I always like to plant myself at the exit of the last turn/entrance to the front straight. Lots of great action there, especially on the last lap when several of 'em are whanging the guts outta the bikes trying to win.

Man, you are gonna love it! Flat track racing is IT!!!!

 

I'm going Labor Day weekend as well. Our dealership has rented an entire hotel out up there and is throwing a big party.

 

Definitely one of the events I want to get to real soon. I've watched the superbikes at Road America and thought those dudes had 5lb. *****, but from what I've seen on tv, the dirt trackers carry about twice that.
