But what about motorcycles with V8 engines in them? Are they still motorcycles or 2 wheeled cars? Oh now you've got me confused! ;-)

Legally, yes. Trikes are bikes. Ask any State's DMV.

Tricycle, bicyle, motorcycle. The common denominator is, cycle.

I think motorcycle is the common word. Trikes aren't bikes. However, Trikes and bikes are motorcycles and that's how DMVs refer to them. You don't get a Bike license. I don't even think bike has any legal meaning contrary to what you are saying.

I'm "wicked old" and don't see where this is going? They say the eyes are the first things to go.....I think?
