I was out riding and a few drops of rain hit my helmet.
Do I need to replace my helmet?

Don't take any chances. Get in your cage and buy a new helmet before you end up dead...or worse!!!

It's just not worth the risk.

Look for cracks, if you don't see any and I suspect you won't it's fine.

Today helmet are different from helmets 30 years back. I was at a bar and my helmet fell off the bar and broke into two sides of the outer shell. Like I said today helmet are better build then years past. And also I stop drinking 11 years ago.

But... but... what about all the micro-fractures that could now be covering the surface of the outer shell. Better not take the risk and buy a new Arai full face every week.

Sorry....you need a new helmet.

Or, rather....what's YOUR head worth? It has already taken it's one compression......might as well not even wear one then, IMHO.

If it were me, I'd get a new helmet.....and hold on to it better next time!

Thats F'kn retarded...The guy dropped it from holding it. Not like he took a head on shot into the side of a house. If i threw my helmet down the street i would still trust it to protect my noggin...

All that chrome on a girly bike no wonder you can't buy a helmet.
