7 Eye/Panoptyx Who's got 'em-likes 'em?
Considering the 7 Eye "Cape" model with the 24/7 copper lenses. If you have these lenses, are they really practical for night riding? I hate to drop over 200 bucks for a transition type lens if they don't lighten up enough at night. Thanks for any advice!

I just purchased a set of these and will never ride without them again! I am thoroughly impressed with them! I actually got them right from the Panoptx site on closeout! I got the Cyclone FX 24/7 ones.
Here's the deal though - they are not like regular sunglasses. They don't get as dark as a regular set... But they've completely replaced carrying two sets of glasses for me!
At night, they don't get completely window transparent - they go a really light yellowish hue, which I really like. They take away all that haze from headlights and street lamps.
All in all, I highly recommend them!

I tried a pair on at the bike show and liked them but I didn't like the price. I ended up getting a set from Global Vision which I love. They have transitional lenses( almost clear to med black) with removable eye cup and the arms can be changed out to a strap which transforms them into goggles. $75cdn taxes in. Awesome!!

I've used these lenses since 05, cloudy day and night awesome, like said really bright days not quite dark enough, but tolerable unless your headed directly into the sun.

All the above are correct,I only wear them now on cloudy days or at night,I get a bad headache with them on in the bright sunlight

If you make any major bike rally's or bike shows you can sometimes/usually get some real decent deals on the last day at one of their booths if you can wait, that's how I bought mine, I paid $60.00 for them.
