I'll be ordering with my next paycheck. I'm not sure about dot or not. I have a real nice full face, and it seems to me that a half helmt dot is kinda like jumping in front of a train and asking it to stop with the touch of my hand. That didnt come out right, but I am a little slow after my coma last august. Anyway, I will order but i wont be a dot. Half helmet really protect my head. Maybe?

 

Just got it in the mail today.
If your looking to rid yourself from the dredded "mushroom head" look,dont believe the ads and photo's.
The DOT helmet looks just like other DOT helmets...I aint sure where the guy in the website photos carves his head or maybe he took all the lining out of his......Might be a little smaller but not as close fitting as the pic seem.....

 

I ordered the dot helmet on July 31 and recieved it on Aug 15. There are a couple of things I will have to get them to change. First the left side strap is too far back. I will get them to move it forward. Right now the straps chokes me. Another issue is the L/XL shell is a little too big. The helmet pulls back like a parachute. I will probably need the next size down. I ordered the non-dot on July 29 and have not recieved it yet. I will check on the status on that one. Overall I like the look & finish of the product. It's just too hard to get the perfect fit without trying it on first.
