Believe me it will be worth the wait.

Just a supply vs. demand issue as stated with the two major rallies just finished they have quite a backlog.

As for the stink, it's just the good old smell of fiberglass resin.

You have to keep in mind that they are usually shipped as soon as they are dry.

It will knock you out when you first open the box but will dissipate after your first ride.

Leave it out in the open once you recieve it and the smell will go away that much faster.

Love my Dot ACC, my other two helmets are now collecting dust..........

 

If I remember correctly, I ordered mine on April 18th. Though, I haven't called recently to check if they have shipped it yet. I sure hope it fits because I would hate to wait an additional 2 to 3 weeks for them to ship me one that fits.

 

I didnt think it smelled that bad...but then I work in a plastics injection molding factory...but after yesterday and today I didnt truly smell anything real strong.

 

Ordered mine April 27 and got it 2 weeks ago. It is a nice lid, friggin so light that I thought the box was empty when it was delivered

 

got mine worth the wait! just take your time and dont cut y6our strap to short likr I did!

 

Does anybody know if the helmets are manufactured at the same place the phones are answered? If so, why can't they give a production date for a helmet build just like a bike build?

Thats odd. I orderd two. Took about 1-1/2 weeks

 

I just ordered one today and the lady told me 4-5 weeks. I'll just have to keep wearing the nxt helmet until the new one arrives.
