well, if they make a 10, it's not on thier site for a standard:
http://www.windvest.com/products/products.html

14 is the lowest they are showing.
I wouldn't mind a windvest, but I don't have the cash for one.

When I bought my '05 FLSTN last year, it came with a king-size windshield. I never did really like it, too tall to comfortably look over. I often took it off for local rides but did use it for longer rides. After a long ride (~300 miles) in the rain just recently, with constant worries about trying to see clearly thru it, I decided to cut it down by 4" and did so yesterday. I viewed that video you reference, and generally followed it with the exception that I used a small belt sander to do the intial smoothing of the edge.

I was a bit dubious about cutting the windshield with it mounted on the bike, but it worked just fine. Whole process took me only about 2 hours.

Nice job Denny! With acrylic you have to take it slow, just like you did.
