Harley should make a scooter again. I'm sure they'd sell.

All I have to do to see a scooter is walk into the garage....nice little Italian Piaggio 250cc liquid cooled. It has that "everything-is-a-sharp-angle" look. The wife insisted on this scooter, or nothing. That worked for about 2 months. Then she discovered the Softail Deluxe. Know anyone who wants to buy a scooter?

I think they serve a purpose in a congested town. They work great in Europe and i think with gas the way it is... its not gonna get any lower... Guys there here to stay.

Yeah...was over at Earl's a couple of Saturday's ago getting a service done and their sales guy say they were going there. They wanted to try and pull more college students in...as everyone else said...get them in the door!

Reality is what it is. Taiwan has some of the best quality engine lines in the world. The mainland has the cheapest mass labor market. The domestic market for scooters is massive in these countries. The result is top quality at incredible low prices. Think 1950's. Think VW.
