I went on 2 rides right after I discovered I was pregnant... a dinner ride and a poker run. The dinner ride was a group ride. I was 2 up on hubby's bike, only about 6 weeks pregnant. A less experienced rider swerved into us and ran us off the road. Luckily we didn't go down... but I quit riding after that! My baby was much more important to me than any ride.

But, as others said, you also take a risk getting in the car, so it has to be between you and your doctor and the baby's father. As for me, I think it was worth missing riding for my children.

(Now they're 10 and 12 and love riding on Daddy's bike, and I have my own bike!!)

A couple thoughts...+1 on checking with doctor since you are pregnant....One less concern when riding since you are already pregnant

+1 on carrying shamwow....but Easy Off oven cleaner should work

+1 on clothing...get her a vest that has laceups so she can adjust

I have a pouch that I carry my puppy in...very secure backpack sorta deal that mounts to the front in case you go on one ride too many
