I have 2 on my scoot. One under the floorboard and the other under the left saddlebag.

 

Two on the Cap'n. Look under the motor. That one was given to me by Dad, when I came back from the Navy. He rode in the 30's and 40's, and during WW2 as a messenger on 45's. So, everytime the panhead rolls, he rides along. The joke is, it is the "LOOK OUT, HERE HE COMES !!!" bell. I also have a sterling silver, American flag (imagine that) ride bell on it, from Momma.



Black Betty, the 78, has a sterling silver POW-MIA bell on it, also from Momma.

And Momma's Sporty, has a sterling silver "Roses" bell on it, from me. Goes with the rose on her right bb.

 

I was at my local dealer getting some warranty work done (leaky rocker boxes) and the repair guy shows me two rows of ride bells, must have been 15-20 of them. Since this location just started doing major crash repair most of the wrecks for 200 miles around get sent to them. He said all the ride bells were fatality wrecks. I since decided to not acquire a ride bell.

 

I have two bells on our bike. One from some dear friends and one from my brother. I was happy to accept both and have double the luck so far anyway.

I see no problem with you giving her one and she can mount it on the bike she rides on.
