First multi-day trip. Can my Wife bring the blow dryer?

What ever you do, don't leave on the trip fully loaded. You NEED to have some free space. Don't pack over about 80%, and with all your luggage capacity you don't need anything tied on the outside.
Plus, if you don't overpack to the point where everything is crammed in, when it's time to move to the next stop, you'll be able to pack up in about 10 minutes. Otherwise you'll be messing around for an hour trying to figure out how to get all that stuff back in again.

Good rule of thumb....Get all the stuff you think you will need and put it on the bed.
Then get all the Money you think you will need and put it on the dresser.
Then take half of the stuff on the bed and put it back where you got it from
Then go to the bank and withdraw an amount equal to what you already have on the dresser and then and only then.
Go have fun on your trip.

I did a 10-days on the road trip last summer in order to ride in a 9-11 Memorial Ride. I have a detailed checklist of what I packed (no passenger, this is what I carried) and it all fit internal on my '07 FLHTCU. I tried to attach it as a .pdf file, but the forum has such small file limits no way it'd go. If you're interested in seeing it PM me and I'll email it back to you.
Have fun and ride safe.
