Thumbs up my .02 cents

I have that color and can't get enough, but then again I love the extreme-flashy paint jobs I see on all the customs around here. Now I don't know about whats happening customizing wise around your local area, but here it's been the thing to have as much flake as possible on most of the customs I've seen lately. I think it's a love-it-or-hate-it color going by the reaction I get when I park at the cruise-in's.

My 09 SG is Black ice / Blue ice. Of course I like it, I always try to buy something a little different, I don’t like pulling up to a stop sign and having someone pull up next to me on an identical bike. My last bike was a peace officer edition (made it less common), I believe this color will achieve the same uncommonality (I just invented that word).

I seem to get allot of compliments on it, most are from women, but that’s a good thing!

If you really want to be different get a pink bike with yellow polka dots.

Reminds me of my bicycle seat when I was growing up. My brother had a helmet painted like that as well.

I do not know if I have seen the color in person or not but it sounds like something I'd like. It is hard to say without seeing it. As to how Harley comes up with the names for their colors that is a mystery to me. The official names for the colors on the Purple People Eater are Black Amethyst and Steel Amethyst. How did they come up with Black Amethyst for the purple I'll never know. Maybe they named it in a dark room at midnight.

Speaking of pink bikes, I know a guy that has an old (don’t remember what year but it was an evo) pink and black soft tail factory colors!
Talk about a sharp bike! I’ve never seen that paint scheme on any other bike. The guys pretty proud of that bike.
