Yea, but I'm originally from WV. I've seen and driven through more than my share of black ice and I've yet to see any that looked purple!

When I first heard the name of the color I assumed it would be black with some silver metal flake. I couldn't believe it the first time I saw it. Black Ice = Purple. Still don't get the name, but the color is growing on me.....a little.

 

MOCO had a "black ice" in 2002, appeared as a black paint but as you walked by or the light caught it, it looked like a metallic frost in the paint, very sharp. $2k paint job,HD custom paint.

 

i saw that color on a new limited ultra, and the color looked like it belonged on a carnival ride actually, to me.

 

So if it belonged on a carnival ride you are saying it fit the Ultra pretty well?
