forums like what are there 14 people who are involved with a victory forum? i don't know, nor do i care. i know that there is plenty of worthwhile information in this forum and i enjoy it a lot. you do, however, have to pick and choose what information is valid, and what are mere ramblings. like this. that being said, shut off the computer and go riding. get your knees in the breeze.

Never. A Harley is a Harley--everything else is somebody else's. Just the way it is.

my last Triumph in 1980 after buying my '75 FLH1200 the year before.

Stopped by the Triumph dealer yesterday morning while it was raining
outside, and eyeballed the silver Tbird. Since the all the bikes were
packed like sardines in the showroom due to inclement weather, had
to squeeze around a Rocket 3 to sit on the Tbird. Thought it was a
real nice bike, and plan to take a demo ride one of these days.

However, if I was to get serious about getting one, would shift over to
a Triumph forum as this is called the hdforum for a good reason.
I used to ride a late 70's Bonneville. Neat bike, not very fast, but good looking ride and fun for blasting around town. Not something I'd want to go for more than a couple of hours on.

I think that Thunderbird is the bomb. I'd definitely consider adding one to my garage if I had the money and space. Of which I have neither, lol. If I was gonna have a second ride, though, I really think I'd have something like the Ducati Sportclassic GT1000. Neat ride, just not something I'd have as my only or even primary ride.
