Ride it. If ya like it, buy it. I like Harleys and will likely always have one, but that won't stop me from buying or riding any other brand that I get enjoyment from riding.

You guys crack me up...

Seriously you are that brain washed? I ride a Harley but have appreciation for any well made bike. 106ci, 92hp and 109ft lbs of torque.... hardly something to laugh about.

Other brands, absolutely(BMW & Triumph). The bike from the link you posted, absolutely NOT...That thing is terrible.

I liked Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster up til 2007 when they changed the tank. Unfortunately their performance numbers SUCK with no real performance enhancers available. I was excited to hear about the new Triumph Thunderbird until I saw the pics. Instead of looking like a Bonneville on steroids, it just looks like a generic metric cruiser. (It has great performance numbers though and a big bore kit was available the before the bike was even released.)

I had a VROD before and just couldn't take too much of a drop in performance. My Night Train I just bought isn't as fast as a VROD either, but that can be rectified Performance isn't the only reason I ride, but it is one of the reasons. Victory looks to "polished" for my taste.

You just joined the forum this month and your first post is an attempt to lure Harley riders over to Victory, which Victory dealership do you work for ?

I *think* you must be referring to the Bonneville America (cruiser) rather than
the Bonneville (standard).

Haven't see the new Tbird in person yet. Triumph knows that by playing it safe
with the design, they'll attract more buyers. Right now they're trying to keep
up with the demand for them, and the owner reviews are absolutely glowing.

I've considered (and bought) other brands. I still have my old Kawasaki and my wife just bought a new Honda. Everyone's different and what one person likes another may not. Years ago you would pick the size and brand of bike (they were all pretty much the same style), and modify it to suit you.

These days there is such a wide variety of bikes out there you can have a bike that suits you perfectly with few modifications, and the most popular bolt on accessories are available for almost every bike made.
Only you can figure out what bike fits you and your needs.
