Out riding with a friend last Friday, running about 35mph when WHACK! A stone about 2-3 inches in diameter smacks me right in the center of my half-helmet (SHOEI). I looked slightly to my right there were three teenage boys standing in a stone pile. I pitched one of those MOTORMAN U-Turns and headed toward those kids. Never seen 13yr olds run faster. In any case, I went straight to the house they had been standing in front of and talked to the parents. Not sure what was going to happen - MOM was clearly unhappy and started yelling for her kid, Dad wanted to know what it would take to settle this (a new helmet of course).

Thank goodness I was wearing my helmet - at a minimum that would have left a good knot, at worse, well you know how that goes.
