They charge for air!
Just need to vent here for a sec...
I just got back from riding up one end of town to the other checking every gas station for a freekin air hose that would fit my bike. Not one!
Not only that, half of them wanted 50 cents and one 7-11 wanted a buck (for AIR!)
I need the old fashion kind that bends on an angle other wise I'm heading to the dealership to use there's and they best not charge me for it.
Thanks for listening.

Yeah, some of the ******* owned stores around here do that. Pretty stupid, at least here, because you can drive a couple of blocks in any direction and there's a Quik Trip with free air, not to mention all the other convenience stores and gas stations.
Edit: ???? I guess I should have used "Arab-American" in place of *******. Is towelhead censored too?
Double Edit: Guess not.

Im sorry but is there any better sign of the willingness of people to gouge than to charge for air? I know it must cost a couple of cents to buy and run (per customer) but it just seems kinda cheap to me.

Well, give it a little more time and soon our own lib government will be taxing us on the air we breathe. All that C02 we are putting into the air. They already know what the average air usage is for child / adult. They wanted to tax cow farts, remember?

Charging for air has been the norm around here for so long I don't even bother looking for a station with free use of their compressor anymore. I just went ahead and bought my own compressor.

just go by your local welding supply store and rent you a tank and have it filled with nitrogen, it won't leak out as fast. After that you can then charge your buddies to fill their tires.

This has been common practice for years at most places. F em, I went to Lowes several years ago and bought a compressor.
