Northern Utah near Monte Cristo.
Snow, or at least where the snow plows went through to clear the road. I was unaware because I am new to the area (moved from North Carolina, not much snow in Fayetteville), that road aparently closes for part of the winter and it had just reopened. Road was clean and temp was above freezing, so I was good, no worries. Cold as **** though.

while were on the subject. alot of military personnel who are deployed are motorcycle enthusiasts and in some forward operating areas they have nothing to do but yank there diks.
i know they are a ton of programs to send various things that these brave men need but what about things that will make them able to slip into the dreamland we all have the access to every time we hop on our scoots.
little things like old bike mags and even parts catalogs would probably be a great escape for these guys and give them something to look forward to doing when they get home. a mag is something small you could just toss in a bag.
i know i have stacks of them just laying around.
it might even exist but if it dosent......maybe we could do something like this......not good with organizing things like this but i'm sure someone on here is.
just a thought. and by the way sir thanks for your brave service!

If you're near a military base, contact the Public Affairs office, they could probably help.
The USO is also a good place to start. There's a USO at most of the major bases around the world, I plan on dropping anything I get in there so others can have a chance. If they can't take your donation, they should be able to point you in the right direction.
I know there's at least one other guy in this thread
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/off-t...g-members.html
willing to give an address so you can send him your stuff. PM me if you want, I'll give you my address and haul anything I get down to the USO here.
Thanks for the support.

Not saying it doesn't exist over here or even that anyone would ever know or have any way of finding out the content of any packages you send to individuals. Just some good info to have.
Check the link I posted a few posts up, there's a thread there with a couple of guys who may be willing to give you and address to send them, if you want my address, PM me, I'll be glad to take any magazines/books you want to send over and drop them in the USO and rec centers.

Got the box in today, 21 pounds of magazines is quite a bit. Thanks again, they will be enjoyed.
I also wanted to thank HDF member 'thomaskray' for sending over some rags. Like I said, I'll distribute everything I get out to the USO and a few other place on BAF.
The support is appreciated gentlemen, thank you again.
