Denny,

Acrylic can be cut, but it should be done by someone who deals in plastics. That is why I suggested Tap Plastics, but they are probably not in the Jamestown area. You may be able to find someone in Oakdale or Merced to do it for $20. The issue would be the thickness of the acrylic, so having someone do it who as done it many times before would be beneficial.

Take a ride down Den I'll do it for ya. I covered mine with masking tape, marked for the cut with a sharpie then cut it with my band saw. Then I removed the tape and went at it with some really fine bastard files until it was smooth enough. To do a fine finish I rolled 1200 paper on a stick and finished it off.

Thumbs up

My Wind Vest was not adjusted right also, I went to Headwinds and bought a different headlight mount that pushed the head light farther foward. Problem seem to be solved!

on my stock Heritage shield I used a Roto-Zip with the standard cutter and it cut it like butter. Not sure how it'll do on plexiglass but might give it a try.

Tape and layout cut, go slow and easy, I will climb cut on U if U don't keep a good hold on it. don't try to cut all the way across in one cut. cut 1/4 - 1/3 then go straight out to the edge making 3-4 pieces out of the cut away piece.

Your neighbor and I may have the same code. "There is nothing I can't fix on someone elses bike".

If you don't get it done this week, Mama and I may take a ride next weekend and I'll help ya. We would come up this weekend but have a club thing on Saturday and a horse thing on Sunday...you should come down for the club thing...raising money for the veterans hospital...
