I haven't done this for quite some time, but I'll try to upload some photos and a video.

Since this video was taken I have tweaked the equilizer on my MP3 player and it sounds even better, clearer and louder when needed. Sorry if the quality of the video isn't all that great. It was taken with a Kodak Easy Share camera. I cranked up the bike once I started the video and revved it up pretty good to give you a idea of just how loud it is. It sounds much better in person. The video doesn't do it justice. While riding I have never turned the volume past 3/4 in order to hear it. The MP3 player is a Coby. I'm sure that the sound may differ depending on you music input source, as this unit does not come with a MP3 player.

I can get more pictures if anyone needs them.

Well it rained buckets on the bike and sound system for about a half hour as I was eating lunch today in Baton Rouge. As I was eating I was talking to a fellow biker I was talking to him about this sound system as he said that he wanted to here it. Well when I turned the sound system on, you could see water kinda splashing from the speaker coil moving and I thought uh-oh, but they sounded great and the standing water in the speaker didn't hurt it a bit. It did sound a bit distorted until the water got out, which didn't take long. I listened to it for about another 20 minutes cruising down the interstate with it drizzling, until I pull off for gas and then the sky fell out again and I had to take my mp3 player and put it away so it could stay dry.

The windshield will keep the mp3 player dry in light rain but in a downpour I am afraid that it will be damaged. I now have to look for a mp3 player that is water proof.

Later
