Just read a post from bigskyhd that prompted this thread.
What bike do you wish you still had and why. Let's say
that you can only pick one.

Mine: 1980 Sturgis -the first black bike
first belt drive (primary too that year)
and rare as a hens tooth

You can't go home again.....

My 84 FXST. 1st year EVo, 1st year Softail. Last year of Chain Drive, 4 speed Tranny and Kicker. It was a great bike. I only got rid of it 5 years ago and have kicked myself in the *** every since.

The second Harley I owned a 1969 FLH.
It totally immersed me in the Harley scene.

BMW R1150R, loved that bike, got it second hand for a winter hack but had a lot of fun rides on it, traded it for a BMW 1200GS, which was a great bike but never made me smile when I hauled it out of the garage. Still look on ebay for another R1150R. Also I never intend making the same mistake with my Bob

My 88 FXRS. I sold it to my brother-in-law when I bought my 06 Street Glide, mostly just to get him on two wheels again. I sold it for way less than it was worth, but have the option to buy it back if he ever decides to sell.

Of course, he'll probably never make the same mistake...

I hate to say it but I wish I still had my old KZ900 and my 2 stroke H1 triple Kawasaki.
Both nice bikes and sort of collectors items now.
I wont give up the HD though.
