My 84' Ironhead...because it was a bad *** bike!

 

Mine would have to be the 1966 Triumph hardtail chopper I had. It had a coffin tank, harley softail rear fender, a very long chromed out springer fork and a Joe Hunt magneto that hung way out on the side of the engine.

 

my 2nd street bike kawasaki GPZ1100 was fast as hell.

 

Easy answer = 1987 FXLR, Willie G. Anniversary Edition LowRider. And I'm guessing that was bike in the post you were referring to that got this thread started.

 

Honda CB 750 four K1. But unlike many here, I kept it, stock. It's at my brothers place now, and gains a little value every year. Bought it in 1990, with 4500 kilometers. It already was a classic at that time. Should have around 10 000 now. By the time I retire, it'll be 61 years old, and I plan on having it still look good. Also have a bunch of spare parts, that I got used on swapmeets.

 

I had a brand new '78 Maico 125, man I wish I still had that bike. That thing would climb telephone poles.

 

Probably the third motorcycle I owned which was a 1973 Moto Guzzi V7 Sport. I only have a couple pics of it. This one taken with my GF shows it best.

 

Great bikes. I had a 1971 V 750 Ambassador Police. That thing was built like a tank! I don't think you could rev it high enough to hurt it. Would run all day in 90 degree heat at 80 and never get hot.

 

Mine was a 1984 FXSB Low Rider. Very last year for the shovelhead, first year for belt drive and last year for kick start. I bought it brand new, paid $7,800.00, rode it for 12 years, put 50,000 miles on it, and sold it for $10,000. I kick my *** for selling that bike. Everybody and his brother drooled over that one.

 

I"m on my 7th street bike. My 1973 Triumph Bonneville, was my best handling and overall bike. Probably the reason I am still alive today.
J&P Cycle at Destination Daytona has the exact same bike, on display.
