1000 Mile Service Question Me or Dealer

When you all say service manual, are you talking about the service manual that HD offers or the one that Haynes offers? Just curious before I fork over the cash as there is a price difference of about $20. Thanks.

clean or replace air cleaner. tighten spokes, check belt tension, oil cables, check tires and lights, grease triple tree bearings, check all nuts of tightness. air pressure in tires. head light beams, clutch adjustment, brake fliud levels, fork oil, battery, turn and brake lights. Just off the top of my head. Thats what they are supposed to do for the money, but don't ask me what they really do!!!!!some are better than others at doing U right..
My 1k, $240.
At the 5k it wah $210.
The 10k, $240.
The 15k service was $190.
now out of warranty and ready for the 20k, I will start doing them, Oil and filters are about $80.00 or so and thats syn oil in motor and tranny, with dyno in the primary and filter.

That would violate federal law. If you have that in writing, contact your state's A.G. office and have a little fun with that a-hole of a dealer.

now, if you read the manual, it does say (in a roundabout way) that if you don't have your services done, then that can void your warranty. and that is legal.
