So, there I was on my way to work..
So, there I was on my way to work. I was driving my Ram due to the bike being in the shop for service. While on the interstate I see a BMW motorcycle up the road, I slowed a little as I passed so that I could get a look at it. I exited the interstate at my exit and drove to the stop light to take a right. I look in the left lane and there are 4 outlaws, not wanna be’s, but the actual outlaw “gang”. The two up front have females on them with vest that say property of the “Outlaws”, the two in the back have vest on that say “Outlaw Prospect”. My windows are tinted dark so I as looking at the bikes and the riders. Guess who pulls up next to me? Yup, the BMW.
Now I figured if anything were to happen I could throw the BMW dude in the back of the truck and drive away.
So now I am watching the bikers, they are looking at the BMW and talking to each other. The guy on the BMW looks over and starts to stare at the bikers. Here it comes I thought. Now all four bikers and the biker babes are looking at the BMW guy. So the BMW guy waves at them. Shocked the bikers kind of wave back and look the other way. I laughed the rest of the way to work. I guess the BMW guy had the right idea, a preemptive strike, be friendly and wave. It made for an interesting ride to work…

Here is a good story for you Lawdawg. When I got out of the army in the early 90's, I was a cop in a medium sized town in Alabama. I was in uniform, riding my sportster to work and a whole buttload of guys pulled up next to me sporting colors. I won't say which MC. I was in a left turn lane and their chase van was beside me. I see the passenger open a bottle of Jack, take a swig and give it to the driver. The driver turns the bottle up and catches a glimpse of me out of the corner of his eye. It was classic, the bottle is still in the air and he turns to look at me and his eyes got HUGE. I got the green arrow, waved at him and turned left. This guy pulls behind me and chases me down, flashing his lights to pull me over. I didn't have my radio or anything, so I was kind of apprehensive, but I stopped. He and another guy got out of the van, walked over to me and he says, "Hey bro, I know you saw me drinking that whiskey, you ain't gonna do nothing about it?" I told him, "No, in Alabama it isn't illegal to drink and drive (we didn't have an open container or consumption law back then), it is just illegal to be DRUNK and drive. I saw you open the bottle, so I know you didn't have enough to be drunk yet." He turned, looked at his buddy and said, "We need to F#cking move here." We talked about my bike for a little while, and what it was like to be a cop and a biker. They gave me some tips on adjusting the clutch pack on my bike (1976 sporty 1000, AMC, still on the road with my son) and we went on our way. I was actually late for work, but it was worth the azzchewing I took.

RE: So, there I was on my way to work..
I am a patrol officer for 140 miles of desert south of Las Vegas, NV. I keep a 5 drawer tool chest in the back of my patrol Jeep. I also do all my maintenance on 3 Harleys out of that box. I have accumulated lots of miscellaneous H-D nuts and bolts that I also keep in that tool chest. Middle of last summer at about 100 plus degrees, I pulled out of the desert onto US 95 about 40 miles south of Las Vegas. A biker and his lady were along side the road and he was working on the engine. I pulled up and asked if I could help in any way. The biker was about 65 years old and was wearing the vest and colors of a well known 1 % club. He frowned at me and said something like "I don't think that you can help me find the pushrod tower cap screws that viberated out". I told him that I had a lot of various bolts and I would take a look. I found two cap screws of the right size and offered them to him. He said something like "Yeah, these look like they will work". Then he spotted the little "H-D" on the side of one of the cap screw heads and did a double take. He ask me if I rode. I just said "Yes". He had the cap screws inplace in the pushrod tower base in nothing flat. He thanked me. I asked him if he was going to tell this story back at the Club? His "Lady" who had never said a word to this point laughed and said, "If he doesn't, I will". He sort of grinned at that and thanked me again. We both went our separate ways. .................... BC

I grew up around alot of "Outlaws" mostly good people just like any other group few bad apples give a bad name nd it is easy to point at those bikers. Not so much anymore though since all the Dr. and Lawyer types started riding.

OK, heare is an old story,
When I was a teenager(to long ago)a few of us guys went camping. We had a ride drop us off at the base of the mountain and basicly hichted hike our way to the camp ground. When we got there we were the only one's there.
Then later on that day we heard a couple MC motors.Well it turn out to be a couple prospects. They road up to get a site for there club,The Unforgiven Siners.Well not to much longer about 30 or so of them showed up.
At that point me and my freinds thought OH S@#%!
About the only thing that happened was they(kinda) made us chop wood for them, well at least they gave us some beer!
