Believe me, I'd like to beat the culprit severely about the head and shoulders. I had just spent 4 hours waxing and polishing chrome before that ride, only to get it trashed by some mouth breather.

Company in Idaho Falls named Melaleuca sells a cleaner called Solumel and it gets gum off anything. Its an around the house cleaner and I've used it on my bike to get gum off the footpegs and it works great. Doesn't hurt paint or chrome.

 

Try using Pamela Anderson, I bet she could suck it off.
