Since they got rid of the night train bring the badboy back. Put Fatbagger bags and rear fender on the Roadking. Just make the Dark Fatboy an option to the regular Fatboy. Bring back the origanal Wide Glide not that one they did, if you want the rear fender put it on the other Dyna's as an option. Maybe in each class have a "standard" in each class ie... softail, touring that you could option out as you like to" build your own". Of course more power.

I am totally underwhelmed. 2:1 exhaust....big deal. A Servicar trike..yuk. A blacked out fatboy....whoopee. It's lipstick on the pig again. WTF is all about the drop in MSRP on the Softail family? I took delivery of my '09 Heritage today.....got a good deal under MSRP, and still under the 1K drop, but usually we see a 3 to 5% increase.
Where is the oil cooled heads like the XR1200? No new VRod.
I am BUMMED.

A springer front end on a Dyna would have been awesome.

A stock bike that was actually a dark bike, rather than having chrome here and there. A flat black bike with black exhaust headers but chrome mufflers, front end, and/or engine/tranny covers is just stupid.

Oh, and a touring bike based on the VRSC would have been smart.

was thinking of changing my 08SG with a 2010 SG thinking it would of had the VROD muscle engine on a SG touring frame.. could of been the CVO model SG 2010 to test the interest of HD owners for a water cooled tourin model.. as well as a 103" being standard over the 96" for touring bikes... damm.. guess keeping my 08...
The new 2010SG paint scheme is cool... but no great surprises for 2010 line ups to my view..Single exhaust on the SG -- looks like its missing something...

This would have tripped my trigger too. I'm also less than impressed with the color choices and combo's this year. I think they could have done a lot better with paint this year.

I was really hoping for the RG to be re-badged as a Tour Glide with a pumped motor and an Ultra style tour pak w/stereo/intercom. Frankly I'm a tad disappointed with what they did bring, and while the 2-1 pipe doesn't bother me much, I really don't like the back end blinker/taillight configuration now.

Guess the other thing I was looking for was a water-cooled engine on one of the baggers...

Overall... pretty much what I expected... nothing earth shattering.

Would be nice to see 103" and brembo brakes standard on all big twins.

Buying an 09 fatboy 16K
Adding accessories 3K
No buyers remorse for not waiting till the 2010 lineup... Priceless!

As crazy as some may say I am for saying this, Im saying it anyway. I dont think its time yet to go to 103". The 96 hasnt been around long enough and if they change things too quickly it kills the value of the bikes IMO.
