Default Normal RPMs at idle

Picked up my carburetored 05 FLHT on Wednesday afternoon. I put about 50 miles on the way home even though I live 5 miles from light house HD. I noticed it idles @ 1200. It also seems to be running rich as well.

My bike is an '08 and it usually idles around 1200. That would be the high idle, the low idle is about 1000 when it's completely warmed up.
