BTW, my last rice was a 1977 Kawa KZ650 that was chopped a bit. To each his own but I do see your point
I do like this pair better & the price is right but you can't tell a thing until they're on your feet.

I saw a tee shirt in the dealer last week that was over $100.00

A Tee-shirt! I even walked it over to the counter and told the lady "This is a tee-shirt"

Screw em.

Bad enough I keep paying these ridiculously overblown sticker prices, I'm sure as hell not gonna
buy any ridiculously overpriced HD clothing too.

You will not catch me in HD Boots. Made in China. They use some poison to treat the leather. Got a bad fungus from the HD boots. I love my Double H boots even if they do cost more money than the HD Boots. Better for my feet.

China put lead in our children's toys, do you think that they care about our feet?

Harley make Flip flops also, I would not wear them to ride. It's more of a poser thing then real riding shoe.

My K-Mart tennis shoe with steel toes have better protection that those HD boots. At less the tennis have padded sides and are waterproof.

Well, I am going to the dealer today to talk over the recall on my bike, and arrange the break-in service. And check out a pair of HD boots I saw back when I bought the bike... they had a hook under the sole that allowed you to hang your feet on the pegs. Anyone ever see these?

You might need some with HD on if the dealer has your bike. They could have it for sometime. You may need that look.

I wear these Belleville combat boots - waterproof and insulated, but not hot in the summer. Very comfortable tactical combat boot. Made in the USA and they fit true to size. Before these I wore my old jump boots - they finally wore out!

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking! I'm not a fan of the look of some of those.
