Default Something on my paint job

Yestrday I was washing my 2009 SG and i noticed a substance that would not come off. It looks like paint over spray its on the front fender and the batwing. I tried washing it off and even bug remover and lastly i treid to use a liquid wax and buff it off to no avail. My guess is its paint from some bridge work on the interstate. anyone have any ideas to get it off without ruining the paint?

thanks for any help

Use a clay bar and some detailer spray.

Then rewax the area.

Hand rub with rubbing compound, then polish, then wax.

+1 on the clay bar & re-wax. You can pick the detailing clay up at any auto parts store.

That should take care of it.

Yep, claybar and re-wax! Don't use rubbing compound on that fiberglass fairing. It's too easy to screw it up.

Sorry, your bike is ruined beyond repair. Sell it to me for $1000 and I'll finish the junking process.
