New American Bikes

Not for me. They look too much like metrics. Guy here at work has a jackpot. Looks good from a distance, but when you get up close it looks pretty cheesy.

I have test driven a couple of Victory bikes. The are very powerful, ride great, but the baggers are "fugly" and the price tags are up there with Harley. I am glad to see another American made bike, but it is not my cup of tea.

I like the Victory's but they don't make anything that suits me at the moment. I was thinking about buying a new Touring Cruiser until they cancelled production of that model in 2005.
I'll stick with the Road King.

+1 to that. We hade a Victory Vegas Eight Ball here the other week trying out our new Victory Backrests its and it was a pretty sharp looking bike. They have a bit of a price tag but still good bikes in my opinion.

The sure aren't afraid to market an ugly bike. Their touring bike are ugly both in pics and real. Of course, if you see one on the road, follow it because you aren't likely to see another.

Brand loyalty is something every Co. strives for, Harley has it, but not before years of working to lose the bad image from the AMF years. But it still lingers. Competition is a healthy thing, & if Victory is successful, it will keep Harley from becoming complacent & it will force them to continue producing a quality product. Therefore I wish Victory much success. Me? I'm a loyal H-D owner.
